The truck can do everything a real recycling truck can do, including emptying a recycling bin into the back of the truck (The child does have to pick up and secure the bin to the truck). It can also dump all its contents when your child pulls on a lever. A bigger lever pulls the body of the truck back up so it can continue on to pick up more recycling. The truck moves smoothly when pushed. Kids will have so much fun playing with this lifelike truck that they'll naturally become curious about recycling.<p><strong>About Sprig<br /> Eco-conscious toymaker Sprig was born when three toy designers realized what an appalling effect traditional toy manufacturing had on the environment. After observing firsthand how toys got made, they understood that the process employed by the factories had a harmful impact on nearby air, soil, water, and plants. They were also disturbed by the emerging "watch-me" trend in electronic toys that encouraged kids to be more passive in their play.
